about

You know the snow man who introduces the Rudolph Family Christmas special? Burl Ives? He wrote a bunch of folk songs. "Yips To Ether" is a song that never made that show. Yips To Ether has one other listenable track and about 7 minutes of white noise and mumbled lyrics stolen from old early American folk songs, sang in loving memory and dedication to Davey Jones. It is about the recent burglary of my house which apparently upset the lady who died here before we bought it. Startled at 4am I wrote all of these songs shaking and sweating over a OUJIA board while she haunted my soul.

It's like my Mom used to say, "What the fu#$ do you want for free you little bastard?".
